Lifecycle Stages
Every customer is somewhere on a journey — from a first-time prospect to a loyal regular, or quietly slipping away. Lifecycle stages put a clear label on where each one is right now.
The six stages
Customer History places each customer into one of six stages, based on their order history and recency:
- Prospect — known to your store but hasn’t bought yet.
- New Customer — has made a first purchase.
- Active Customer — buying regularly.
- Loyal Customer — a consistent, established repeat buyer.
- At Risk — was active, but has gone quiet.
- Churned — hasn’t bought in a long time.
Stage history & time-in-stage
Stages aren’t just a snapshot — each customer’s movement is tracked over time, with how long they’ve been in their current stage. A customer sliding from Loyal to At Risk is exactly the kind of change worth catching early.
Where to find it
A customer’s current stage appears on their profile, and as a column and filter on the customer list — so you can pull up, say, everyone who’s At Risk in one click.
How to use it
Lifecycle is a simple shared language for prioritising attention: welcome your New Customers, look after your Loyal ones, and reach out to the At Risk group while you still can. It pairs naturally with the health score and churn prediction. As always, it’s a read-out for you — the plugin never acts on a stage automatically.
