Why we built PureDevs
Every WooCommerce store already records the things that matter most — who bought, how often, what they searched for, and when they drifted away. The problem was never a lack of data. It was that WooCommerce shows you orders and revenue and leaves the customer — the actual person behind those orders — invisible.
The usual fix is to pipe all of that into a monthly analytics SaaS. It works, but it means paying every month forever and handing your customers’ history to a third party. For a lot of stores that’s a strange trade: renting access to insight about your own customers, computed from your own data, sitting on someone else’s servers.
So we built the alternative we wanted — a plugin that adds the customer-intelligence layer (lifetime value, RFM, health, churn, behaviour) directly inside wp-admin. It reads the orders you already have, computes everything in your own database, and costs a flat annual price instead of a forever subscription. Nothing leaves your store.
That’s the whole idea. The data is already yours. PureDevs just makes it make sense.

After 12+ years as a full-stack developer building and scaling WooCommerce sites, I kept seeing the same pattern in stores doing 50–2,000 orders a month: owners can’t name their top 10 customers, can’t tell which buyers are silently churning, and can’t predict when their best-sellers will run out.
Default WooCommerce reports don’t surface any of this. The tools that do — like Metorik and Metrilo — feel expensive for the value they return.
