The Revenue Snapshot
The Revenue page is a quick read on how your store is performing — the headline numbers and a trend, without leaving wp-admin.
Where to find it
Open Customer History → Revenue. It covers the free 90-day window.
The four KPIs
Four cards summarize the period, each with a period-over-period comparison so you can see the direction of travel at a glance:
- Net revenue — sales for the period.
- Orders — how many orders made it up.
- Average order value — net revenue per order.
- Customers — how many customers bought.
The trend chart
Below the cards, a net-revenue trend chart shows how revenue moved across the period — useful for spotting the effect of a promotion, a seasonal lull, or a strong week. Charts are bundled with the plugin, not loaded from a third-party CDN.
Reading it well
- Compare like with like — the period-over-period figure already does this for you; be mindful of seasonality when a number swings.
- Pair a dip in average order value with the product and search data to decide whether bundling or merchandising would help.
- If a figure ever looks off, it’s usually order status, timezone, or caching — see Data Accuracy Problems.
The full picture in Pro Pro
This snapshot is the free slice of a much larger suite. Pro’s Full Revenue Analytics adds the complete history, a new-vs-returning-vs-guest split, product revenue over time, frequently-bought-together correlations, and a day/hour revenue heatmap — plus the Data Integrity Checker to confirm the numbers.
