Order History Tracking
Order History connects each customer to what they actually bought, so a profile is more than a list of names — it’s a purchase record you can act on.
What it shows
Orders are read straight from WooCommerce (and work the same whether your store uses HPOS or the classic order tables — see HPOS Compatibility). Customer History groups a customer’s orders by status so you can see, at a glance, what’s completed, what’s in progress, and what needs attention.
On the customer profile
Each customer’s profile lists their orders grouped by status (processing, on-hold, completed, …). Every order shows:
- Order number — linked to the full WooCommerce order.
- Date, items, and total, with a quick View button.
Alongside sits the financial summary: total orders, pending orders and value, refunded orders and value, average order value, and total spent — the numbers that tell you how much a customer is really worth.
The Order History page
For a store-wide view, open Customer History → Order History. On the free version you can filter by date range and order status.
Pro adds two more filters — payment method and order total — so you can answer questions like “which high-value orders came through a particular gateway.”
Putting it to use
- Spot repeat customers — several completed orders is a loyal customer worth nurturing.
- Catch what needs attention — pending and on-hold orders surface clearly on the profile.
- Watch refunds — the refunded count and value flag customers (or products) that may need a closer look.
Reporting, not action
Order History is a read-only view of what already happened in WooCommerce. It never edits orders or changes their status — what you do with what you see is up to you.
