Resolve Compatibility Issues

Ensure Customer History works properly with your WordPress setup, theme, and other plugins.

System Requirements

Verify your environment meets minimum requirements:

  • WordPress: 5.8 or higher
  • WooCommerce: 6.0 or higher
  • PHP: 7.4+ (8.0+ recommended)
  • MySQL: 5.6 or higher
  • Memory: 128MB minimum (256MB recommended)

WordPress Version Issues

Using outdated WordPress:

  • Update to latest WordPress version
  • Backup site first
  • Test on staging if available
  • Customer History requires WordPress 5.8+

WooCommerce Compatibility

Tested with WooCommerce versions:

  • 6.0 through 8.5+
  • Compatible with HPOS (High Performance Order Storage)
  • Works with WooCommerce Subscriptions
  • Compatible with WooCommerce Memberships

If using very old WooCommerce:

  • Update WooCommerce first
  • Then test Customer History
  • Report any issues to support

PHP Version Problems

PHP 7.3 or older:

  • Customer History requires PHP 7.4+
  • Contact host to upgrade PHP
  • PHP 8.0+ recommended for best performance
  • Backup before upgrading

Theme Compatibility

Tested with popular themes:

  • Storefront
  • Astra

  • Flatsome
  • Divi
  • Avada
  • Elementor Hello

Theme conflicts rare but possible:

  1. Test with default theme (Twenty Twenty-Three)
  2. If works with default, theme is issue
  3. Contact theme developer
  4. Report to Customer History support

Common Plugin Conflicts

Caching Plugins

Usually compatible, but:

  • Exclude tracking script from minification
  • Don’t cache AJAX requests
  • Add exceptions for customer-history URLs

Security Plugins

May block tracking:

  • Whitelist Customer History requests
  • Allow JavaScript execution
  • Check firewall rules

Analytics Plugins

Can coexist, but:

  • Check for JavaScript conflicts
  • Both tracking scripts should load
  • May need to adjust loading order

Multisite Compatibility

WordPress Multisite support:

  • Can be network activated
  • Or activated per-site
  • Data isolated per site
  • Network-wide reports available (Premium)

Translation/WPML

Multilingual compatibility:

  • Works with WPML
  • Works with Polylang

Supported databases:

Testing Compatibility

Before reporting issue:

  1. Update WordPress, WooCommerce, and all plugins
  2. Update PHP to 7.4 or higher
  3. Test with default theme
  4. Deactivate other plugins
  5. Check browser console for errors
